Leeks with mincemeat


  • 1 kg. leeks
  • 250 gr. mincemeat
  • 1 spoonfull of tomato puree
  • 1 onion
  • 2,5 kg of flower oil
  • 1 lemon
  • salt( as you like )


After cleaning the leeks , cut them into circular pieces of 10cm.Oil them a little and take all to a tray or to a faucepan. Cut the onion into circular pieces and fry them in the oil. Add the mincemeat and tomato puree and cook in the oven for 25 minutes.Don’t forget to add the lemon’s juice. After cooking your meal you can add some parsley or some tomato slices on it before serving.
