Hamsi Kusu ( Fresh Anchoive or Smelt Fish Balls)


  • 2 lbs boned Fresh Anchoive or Smelt fish
  • 1/4 cup Corn Meal
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil


Servings: 6
Preparation Time: 60 minutes

Mix corn meal and boned fish.
Knead with water and eggs.
Shape them in to meat balls.
Fry in a non-stick pan with very little olive oil.
If desired you could make a mixture of milk and eggs and pour it over the meat balls lined in a pan and fry them.
Serve hot.
