Celery string


  • 1 kg. celery
  • 250gr. meat(cutted into cubic tiny pieces)
  • 2 spoons of flower oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 spoons of flour
  • 2 lemon’s juice
  • 2 eggs
  • salt(as you like)


Peel the celeries. Cut each celery into 4 long pieces. Clean the celeries and boil them with 1/2 lemons juice. During this procedure fry the meat with tiny cubed cutted onions in the flower oil, add a glass of water and cook them for a while. You can add salt and pepper if you like . Put the celeries one by one in the faucepan leaving the middle part empty. Pour the meat into that emty part, add 2,5 glasses of water and put on middleheat.By the time there’s no water left in the faucepan add the special sauce and boil them till it overflows. Upsidedown the faucepan to a big plate. Special sauce:Mix 2 egg’s yellow part with a lemon’s juice and add 2 spoonfulls of flour. Add 3/4 glassesof water and mix them altogether. Add this sauce to the faucepan when there is no water left in it.
