- 1 kg green beans
- 250 gm cubed lamb
- 1 1/2 tblsp butter
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes or 1 tblsp tomato paste
- 1/2 green pepper
Finely chop the onion and brown in a saucepan with the cubed meat and butter.
Add the peeled and chopped tomato or tomato paste.
Add 3 cups of hot water and simmer until the meat is tender.
Meanwhile string and slice the green beans. When the meat is tender add the beans, stir, and cook for 10 minutes on a medium heat.
Add 2 cups of water and simmer until the beans are tender.
Add salt to taste when the beans are nearly cooked.
Serve with rice pilaf.
